A 750 KW H.A.W.T' unit located on the grounds of the Bruce Nuclear facility in Ontario was recently tested at a distance of 25 meters from the base of the tower. A reading of 86.5 db was recorded during a 15 kph wind.

Mariah Technologies Inc. hopes to achieve a reading somewhere between 30-40 db. A V.A.W.T. prototype unit installed in Dorval PQ , registered 38.9 db.
